Eek Summer Break!
Oh man, I’ve been so excited about summer. I have been looking forward to having a break from schooling the kids, Now we are just a few days away from all three kids being done for the year and I’m starting to really think about what I’m going to do with them.
This happens every year. A few months after school starts I’m wishing for summer, then about three weeks into summer break I’m wanting school to start again. Stupid I know, but school gives us something to do.
As you know we moved recently. The kids left their friends. They keep in touch with texting and video messaging. Now that we are in the new area they really haven’t met many kids. They older two have a couple kids they play with sometimes. Hopefully, they will meet more kids around here this summer.
Until then, I need to figure out things for them to do. I have been scouring Pinterest for ideas to keep them busy and give me some free time.
